Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented individual for a Part-Time Bookkeeper. This position is crucial to the smooth operation of our business, requiring a blend of financial acumen and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, trustworthy, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping (approx. 60%):
Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Prepare and process invoices.
Process payroll.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
Generate financial reports (profit and loss, balance sheet) as needed.
Assist with budget tracking and expense management.
Collaborate with external accountant for tax preparation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
Proficiency in payroll processing is required.
Strong command of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail) and Canva is essential.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must possess a current and valid driver's license.
Willingness to undergo a background check.
Previous experience in the beauty industry is a plus, but not required.
