Join our NYC team as a Litigation Associate. As a valued member of our team, you will draw on your prior experience in defending New York litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal. Your responsibilities will include direct client communication, preparing and filing legal documents (pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs), taking/defending depositions, making court appearances, handling ADR, trial preparation, and trials/appeals. GRSLBG&B provides attorneys with exceptional opportunities for professional growth, both within the firm and in the broader legal industry, through mentorship, hands-on experience, and industry engagement.
Requirements
The preferred candidates will have at least 2 years insurance defense/tort experience defending NYLL/construction (personal injury and defect), premises liability, trucking/auto/rideshare, dram shop, and other types of first and third-party personal and commercial lines matters. Admission to both NY State and Federal Courts required.
Trial experience and ability to manage a caseload independently a plus. Proficiency in NY e-filing; MS Office Suite; time/billing software; and discovery management software tools.

Job Type: Full Time. This role requires in-person practice of law. After an initial mandatory in-office period, a hybrid work-from-home schedule is available.
Pay: $85,000-$160,000
