Now Hiring: Cable Assemblers – Poway, CA

We’re hiring Cable Assemblers to join a leading defense and diversified technologies company.

Location: Poway, CA

Pay Rate:

• 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 2:30 PM): $25.96/hr

• 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 12:30 AM): $27.26/hr

Duration: 6 Months (with potential to extend)

What You'll Do:

Assemble electronic and mechanical components, including cables, harnesses, and panels
Build cables up to 4 miles long, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Read and interpret wiring schematics, blueprints, and wire lists
Follow detailed written instructions (must be able to read English fluently)
Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and precision
Perform setups, adjustments, rework, and inspections as needed
Use various tools, including hot tweezers, soldering irons, compression tools, calipers, tape measures, and power tools
Apply soldering techniques (soldering certificate preferred)
Follow IPC-620 standards (certification a plus)
Understand and interpret engineering terminology, specifications, and documentation
Support team training efforts and assist with general cleanup and housekeeping duties

What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED (required)
3+ years of relevant experience
Ability to read blueprints and assembly diagrams
Familiarity with tools and warehouse operations
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift/move materials as needed
Eligibility for DoD Security Clearance
